Eric Griffith

Eric’s Bio: Eric is an internationally acclaimed artist (photographer). His photographs currently hangs in private collections in America, Canada, Europe, and in galleries in America.  Along with his photography, Eric has recently  started to add painting to his artistic repertoire.  In 2013-2015 he exhibited in the Sarasota Art Center Gallery, where his work sold to a private collectors. In 2019 his paintings were exhibited in the Stirling Art Gallery in Dunedin Florida, and his work  sold to private collectors.

He approaches every new canvas with a plan of what of what he wants to paint but no road map.  His collection consists of scenics, abstracts, portraits, sealife and commissioned works. Inspired by the Caribbean and Florida, his paintings reflects his love for tropical seascapes.

Eric was born in Barbados and now paints out of his studio in Clearwater, Florida. His painting career started at an early age.  He was accepted an art school, but went to college to major in Business. After receiving his M.B.A. and minoring in Art History.  After graduating from the University he was off to live and work in Europe for 30 years.  While he was there he  studied every summer for five years, at the Art School in Arles, France.
