Gayle Lerman-DeCoste

Gayle Lerman-DeCoste is an award winning artist from the east coast of New England.  She studied in the Art Colony of Rockport, MA under the tutorage of the master artists of the times in Workshops and private classes, and earned her AD in Gerontology and her BA in Art Therapy at Lesley University.  Her style leans toward the impressionistic era, landscapes & seascapes, lighthouses and florals, using first the medium of oil and then watercolor, with emphasis on light and shadow.  Coordinating workshops, teaching at Senior Centers and Evening Schools was her expertize.  She has a passion for the arts and theater and relocated to Dunedin, Fl in 2004.  Today she teaches Workshops, and also privately.  Gayle is currently a member of TESA.  She was President of the Malden Guild of Artists for three consecutive years, and also President of the Malden Cultural Council.  Her works are represented in public buildings and private collections throughout the country.
